being in the fund raising committee taught me how to be flexible and be open to new ideas.
helping out in the movie screenings made me realize the importance of knowing what attracts the masses and doing what kind of fund raising activity that will garner the largest amount of profits. for example, i realized that certain movies appealed to the students of the college, whereas some did not. similarly, i realized that the cheese sausages were not in great demand, but most loved the popcorn that we sold.
working with people like amanda and peibao taught me how not to crack under pressure, emma, vishal, gerald, ada definitely made me see the light in persevering. they managed to sell all the remaining cheese sausages!
the others have their strengths too, and it's great to know that we'll be able to put our different strengths together in Cambodia and provide our utmost to the society there. (:
